El consejero de Hacienda, Industria y Energía de la Junta de Andalucía, Juan Bravo, ha defendido que el Gobierno andaluz de PP-A y Ciudadanos no busca un enfrentamiento con el Ejecutivo central en materia de financiación autonómica, sino realizar una reivindicación justa que la actual ministra de Hacienda en funciones, María Jesús Montero, también realizaba al Gobierno cuando era consejera del ramo en la Junta andaluza. Así lo ha indicado Juan Bravo en una entrevista, en la que ha insistido en reclamar que se abra ya la reforma sobre el modelo de financiación autonómica, porque se está trabajando con un sistema que se aprobó en 2009, en principio con una vigencia para cinco años. El consejero ha recordado que, la Junta, al igual que otros ejecutivos autonómicos, reclama al Gobierno la compensación del IVA del mes 13, que en el caso de Andalucía supone 400 millones de euros.
